About

Zach is a Muslim, Muti-Hyphenate theatre artist living in the Hudson Valley. He is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz’s theatre department where he studied acting and directing. He is also a recent alumni of Shakespeare & Company’s renowned month long acting intensive that re-inspired his love for Shakespeare. He has worked locally at theaters including Shadowland Stages, Ellenville Central School District, Denizen Theatre & Performing Arts of Woodstock.

He is a part of the inaugural acting company of Columbia County Players in Hudson New York. He is looking to grow with the company and bring in a diverse level of professional and new creative artists to create a company based on the idea that all are welcome to act and explore the works of Shakespeare.

In his spare time he enjoying seeing local theatre, gravel biking, enjoying the pristine Hudson Valley Scenery and playing Magic The Gathering with friends.

In September, Zach will be heading up to the quaint town of Sandwich, New Hampshire to join Advice to the Players on their touring production of The Tempest as Ferdinand.

Next Spring Zach is thrilled to be returning to his Alma Mater at SUNY New Paltz to direct Shrek The Musical.
